Our volunteers peer supporter

What sets our volunteers apart is their lived experience. Each of them has experienced perinatal loss, and it is this experience that allows them to deeply understand the pain, confusion, and multitude of often contradictory emotions that accompany such a loss. Perinatal grief is never linear: it blends sadness, guilt, anger, incomprehension, and sometimes even a feeling of isolation. Our volunteers know that every journey is unique and that every emotion has its place. Their personal experience allows them to provide authentic, attentive, and compassionate support, offering a space where each parent can feel understood and supported.
